I am a local Emmaus artist working in a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylics, and oils. My sketchbooks are filled with images in pencil, colored pencil, ink and watercolor. I draw and paint for the fun of creating and experimenting.
Subjects of my work range from household objects and cats to backyard birds and landscapes. I paint both from photos and from life. I hope the viewer finds a moment or two of enjoyment looking at my work!
Artist Bio
I have been engaged in creative projects throughout my life, including sewing, quilting, and knitting, adding watercolor and drawing while living in California. I completed drawing and composition classes there, which gave me some valuable basics and furthered my interest in the arts.
Since moving to the Lehigh Valley, I have been continuing my art education. Local instructors with whom I have studied include Kathy Thomas, Ed Klova, Richard Farmer, Don Williams, Jr., Tom Flynn and Adriano Farinella. At the Baum School, I have studied with Rosemary Geseck, Dana Van Horn, Elena Shackleton, Andrew Kish and Deb Walkowiak. Online I have studied with Clara Lieu.
I am member of the Parkland Art League and the Bethlehem Palette Club.
